extended warranty pricing?

Dealer quoted 1495. 00 on 5yr. 100,000 100ded, ELITE. Is that a good figure?Does 7/70 include transmission,turbo,injectors,pump... or does that all go away after 3/36?

My dealer told me $1200 or $1250 and I could pay it out over a years time and I could purchase it any time before the 3/36,00(if I remember correctly)

Just purchased my 7 yr. 100,000 warrenty. The truck was alittle over a year old and had 26,000 miles on it. The cost to me was $1700. You can buy the extended warrenty right up to 3 yr. 36000 miles, but the more miles thr truck has on it, the more money the warrenty costs. ( so i was told )

just had another dealer quote me 1250. 00 for 100,000 7yr. 100. ded maximum care plan... ... man they really vary on price... ... thought my dealer I purchased from would do me right... . guess that was foolish to believe... .

highrisk, how many miles did you have on your truck at the time if the quote? as i understand it, the more miles you have at the time of the quote, the more it costs.
