Advice on full time Rving

I own a 32 gooseneck enclosed race car trailer that's clad in aluminum that's painted white. I wanted to clean the trailer, using my neighbors power washer. What kind of soap is recommended? Will Simple Green work? it's just dirty from road grime, nothing special. no bugs or tar. I've seen several products on Camping World's website, but just wanted to keep it simple.

Also, the trailer is several years old and a bit oxidized. Is there a recommended wax to add some shine?

Be very careful using a pressure washer on your trailer or truck. The high pressure stream can strip decals off which can be pricey to replace. Don't ask me how I know this...

I have been using Orange Blast on my white snowmobile trailer with great results to get off the dreaded "black stains", but you have to hand wash it to get those stubborn stains off. Altho I don't have to scrub them off, an easy wiping is all that is needed. Plus that Orange Blast is pretty cheap.

I don't believe there really is an "easy" method. on my alunimum-painted camper is was so dirty when I got it I used an orbital polisher on it with polishing compound, most of the dirt is gone, but so is the paint in a spot or 2.

I also found that wax called "new car finish" (or something like that) in the Orange bottle works good, but again, its going to take a hand job to do it.

Wal Mart and others sell a product called "boat and car wash" for pressure washers, works pretty good, also have the wax for pressure washers, it's about $6. 00 a gallon. bg

The Best way I have found is use Simple Green. Just spray it on get the Brush&Long Poll out and go at it. No trouble with taking things OFF that should not come off. I use it that way to keep our 5th wh White, and Wax the front cap to help clean the bugs come off. I also know there is more than one way to skin a cat
