Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Does anyone have any experience and/or knowledge about using an external ATF filter on a 47RE trans? I found a couple of different ones that Summit Racing offers and am considering installing one.
Also, there seems to be a tremendous amount discussion about what brand ATF and grear oil to use.
I found RedLine has MS7176 C+ synthetic ATF, but you have to find a local dealer that carries it, which can be found on their web site. Richmond Gear has a GL-6 rated 75w-140 synthetic gear oil (carried by Summit) that I recently installed in my truck.
