external trans filter and placement

Has anybody installed an external trans filter on their truck? I want to install a filter on the framerail or under the hood but was wondering where the best place to put it would be, and which line to connect the filter too. Thanks for the input. Sdevries Harley hauler 2007 5. 9 auto 4x4 totally stock for now

I do not have tramy filter, but I run a FS2500 bypass filter on the engine. It is a very nice unit and Filtration Solutions told me the same system san be used on my trans. The # is 1-888-440-9056 and they can answer all your questions on mounting and pressure/return lines. The system with upgraided braided stainless steel lines was about $520. hope this helps
