I'm sure that Jim Fulmer will respond, I think he is comming up with a system using the wastegate from HERE.

I know that several have used that one in their twin system. :)

Hope this helps.

Jim & Andrew thanks for the info... . Looks like a pricey piece of equiptment? Are either one of you guys using one? Its late and I haven't called them, just wondering if they are straight thru or 90* ? How about heat, any feel for like 1500+ *'s?

Thanks, Steve

Steve I run the same one Mark does and to date I have 7500 miles on it with countless WOT runs, my egt's are around 1400-1500(depending) and I think Mark's are about the same, when I called them a few weeks ago they said it was best to have it 3 inches away from the heat source. It's $325. 00 and the flanges are $25. 00, if I could say anything bad about it I would give you mu opinion but I see no down falls to it yet, Some Vendors are using it also but no feed back from them yet. While chatting with them they said there was a 1 week back log on them but that might be fixed now!

??????????????????????

Can't thankyou guys enough! Do you have a part # you are using, and if so, what boost setting ( I'm assuming they are spring loaded) are you running?

Steve

Steve, Piers is coming up with a Wastegate system for the Hybrid and will probably have it availiable in a month or so. Give him a buzz:)

Steve there is only one as long as you tell the the Billet one (Extreme) tell him your a Diesel and he will understand, yes they are spring loaded but the spring need to be tighter, I haven't taken mine apart to find a bigger spring as they only offer the 18 lb spring. Boost:p it was at 60..... was..... I filled the overflow tank Friday night, funny thing is it's fine now but parts were ordered last night.

Kaptn..... No problems with the turbo if you can hold below 55 PSI. I'm trying to prevent a future problem, if I exceed that boost level, ie. , blown head gasket or turbo... . This turbo will spool to 60+ with-out batting an eye.

Delta gates are fine and work good they just don't seem to last long, I know there not built as good as this piece, but that is an opinion.

Acctually I'm taking her back down to the boy sat morning to do a test and Kill these valves and planing on pulling the head to get ready to install the inconels early next week to be ready to run the big boost at the first pull:D
