It's nothing fancy. The Pump is a Sandon 709, to use it as a air pump you need to oil the incoming air with a standard oiler for air systems. install it in the intake to lube the pump and use a dryer at the exit, to clean out the air.

What is the combined cost of the compressor and required mounting bracket?

The website lists the compressor at $399, I'm assuming the mounting bracket will be included, specific to the vehicle. I didn't follow up, but I'm assuming the purchaser has to buy the rest of the parts for their application (i. e. air lines, tank, etc. ). They say it will maintain 8 CFM at 100 psi.

I've seen the kilby on other compressor threads. Looks like a good unit. I was considering this at one time:

I think I'm going to call Extreme Outback tomorrow and find out about this bracket and what comes with it for the money. It wouldn't seem too hard to fab a bracket and piece together the rest of a system for cheap. I just can't see spending double the cost of the compressor on a bracket. I must be missing something

i've been mulling over building my own air system but it'll be a while before i have time to play with it, shouldn't be a huge deal just time consuming
