I've watched several episodes. It's amazing what they can accomplish in such a short amount of time.
Something I've wondered is, TAXES. How do they handle that? Most of the families don't look like they could afford paying the property taxes on the improvements, among others.
Also, what about getting building permits and inspections to make sure everything is up to code?
On the last one I saw, I know they didn't call the utility company before they dug some holes with the backhoe. Wound up hitting the water line and sewer to the house. Glad it wasn't the gas line. :--)
