Had a friend call me and said the truck was popping and blowing white smoke after he put a set of injectors in. I decided to go down a take a look. He took the new ones out and put the stock ones back in and he said it does the same thing. I got there and pulled the stock ones out and installed the new ones, DDP 180hp. Started truck up, ran rough for a few seconds then smoothed out, had a little white smoke blowing out. Took it out for a drive and as soon as you give it some fuel it blows white smoke like crazy, does not clear up at all. It's not popping now, just blowing white smoke. Anyone know what it could be?

He said the stock injectors are doing the same thing. The truck never did this until they swaped injectors. Maybe the VP44?

Update, the injectors are 110hp, not 180's. He called me and said it has gotten better. If he gets on it hard then it blows white smoke, if he eases into it, it will blow black smoke. Somehow its overfueling. Earlier he said it had some fuel coming out the exhaust. Any ideas?

White smoke is from fuel entering the cylinder during the exhaust stroke, can be from injectors hanging up or timing issues. I am not sure on your rig since i am mainly a CR guy.
