Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) EZ a timing box or fueling box?

just wish i could get a solid answer on this. i thought that it was a fueling box and if you bought a comp the 2-5 settings were the timing. ya'll let me know if i am wrong. thanks, nick

if it does both then how can you stack it with other boxes? what excactly does the pump wire on the comp do? thanks

Since the EZ superimposes a fueling signal on the CANbus just like the ECM fueling command, it can never override the absolute maximum fueling limit programmed into the VP-44. By tapping the pump wire downstream of the VP-44's "brain", the Comp takes control of the fueling solenoid away from the VP-44 and, therefore, is not subject to the VP-44's absolute maximum fueling limit programmed into the firmware.



The EZ is a fueling and timing box with a built-in boost fooler.
