I had an ez box installed in my 02 truck in December. I didnt think I was getting the same power that I got in Dec, so just so I wouldnt worry about it, I took the truck in to be checked. The mechanic said it works great. Max boost is 27lbs.

Well, I just looked at the receipt from December, and the installed had written that at that time I was getting 30lbs of boost.

Im sure the main problem is that I am just used to the power, and there is no problem. But, can boost vary like that ? Is a drop of 3 lbs considered a problem ? Or can air temp, etc change the boost from time to time ?

Thanks for the reply. I didnt have any idea what it should go to. It sounds like he guy that installed the box was just a little loose with what his guage was telling him.

Altitude and temp and humidity all figure in to the equation. I have the EZ and stock injectors and I never saw 30 PSI. I can get to 28 pretty easy.
