Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) EZ edge elbow mod?

I have just installed DD2s, I moved my EZ

to the middle jumper I now see about 29 # of boost. ( I would see 27 with stock injectors and the EZ). When I put the EZ in I inserted a plug and drilled the hole in the hardline elbow as per the Edge instructions, I have a HY-35 turbo. Did that disable my wastegate all together or make it actuate around 29psi?



I just don't know if I should have more boost or not, any help would be great.

When you drilled the hole in the plug, I think that is what decides how much boost you will acheive. If you want more, you will probably have to turnbuckle the wastegate shut. Do a search for "turnbuckle", that is where I got my info for this problem. There might be a couple other ways around this also.

Running an EZ and stage II injectors you should see more than 29LBS of boost.
