Anybody have an EZ on thier truck that surges? Replaced the EZ once & it still does the same thing. 1700/1800 rpm cruisin on flat ground,63/65 mph,try to acelerate a little
barely touch the peddle & we start buckin &
jerkin like a dime store pony. Does'nt seem to do it when on criuse control. Any ideas???
Any & all help will be apprecieated.
Rick

I don't have an EZ but my blue box did that when the VP44 wasn't getting enough fuel. I was even showing 15 psi and it was still doing it. It didn't stop until I got rid of all of the banjos in the truck. Hope this helps.

If a diesel even farts wrong, change the fuel filter. Learned that back in '78 when I had changed the filter on my log skidder only to have it start missing on a pull the very next day.
Called the service man and he came 35 miles, billing me mileage all the way. He changed the filter again and the skidder ran like a charm.
I said, "but I changed the filter yesterday. " He said, "You never know when you might pick up some dirt. That'll be $75. 00 please"

Rapid Rick: Thats exactly what my truck did with the EZ connected. Replaced fuel filter and problem went away. Note: I only had this bucking problem when under load (pulling 5ver).
