Just wondering...
Put my EZ on level 6 and get up to 34-35 PSI boost when pushing it. EGTs are pretty consistent around 700*F, spiking maybe up to 900-1000*F.
Tonight, had to haul some horse feed on my flatbed; 2 palettes at 2000# each, and the trailer also around 2000#, total around 6000# on the (bumper) hitch. Going up hills, I did see temps go up in the 1000-1100*F range (not quite hitting 1100, but close).
That made me wonder... do I need to be concerned when pulling the 5th wheel? That will be pulling around 11,500#, for a GCW of around 20,000#. Am I going to see EGTs above 1250*F on level 6? Would it be wise to back it off to level 4 (where I used to run it) with the 5er?
