It should fit most 2000's and all 01's. Some of the early 00's had the triangle map connector, but most have the flat like your 01. It will not fit 98. 5-99, or 02 for sure.

SEmerson,

I think that I'm correct in that Edge and Blue Chip sell a map sensor adapter that will adapt your 2001 EZ to a 2002. Can't go back in years because of voltage differences. I have a 2001 Edge Comp box that I'd do some trading for your Blue Box/EZ if you are interested, the Comp is less the a year old. Larry

Any EZ or equivalent box with the triangular plug will only work on the 98. 5/00. The ECMs for the 98. 5/00 measure the MAP in gauge pressure. The 01's and up measure absolute pressure form the MAP.

ez + old style blue box will produce less HP than a drag comp

dyno numbers should be posted in the near future

stay tuned :)

These statements and test are difficult on TDR because most folks like what they have or sell and few have tried multiple setups. That said... ... ... ... :) :)

The 4wire Blue Box is adjustable to a peak fueling of 50%, while the Drag Comp is designed to go beyond 50%. My experience is that a Blue Box and a EZ will beat a regular Comp Box but may not a Drag Comp. The Premium Blue Chip FMS will adjust to 63% and joined with an EZ or if running larger injectors I prefer an early VA or Power Puck----will out power a Drag Comp. If you count driveability the FMS wins even bigger. I do not have dyno sheets to prove this (dyno's seem to vary between brands, shops, operators, etc. anyway) but I use a G-Tech, stop watch and recording guages to tyr to find what works best for my setup. If you are running small injectors a Drag Comp 5x5 or FMS on 63% will mostly make more heat at higher rpms while a stock turbo kills the upper horsepower... ... ... ... . so as the saying goes: your results may vary. It WILL fit an '02 with an adapter. I have one off of an '01 on my '02. I was lucky and found an adapter fo $8-$10. Now they go for $30(+)!!!

Pay $30. 00 for an adaptor  there are many place to buy it in the $10. 00 range

whoever is charging $30. 00 is a thief :(

I agree they are a thief, but, what happened is I ordered mine and it came in on the next stock order, and they told be their cost was up to $20 on them, but their website still said $7. 00, and I just checked and it still does, she said it should be up close to $30. I'm not complaining, I got mine reasonable!
