EZ or DDTTPM?

I have noticed that the Edge EZ is advertised for a 65 horse/185 ft/lb gain while the DD true torque power module is advertised for 50 horse/100 ft/lb gain. Both these figures are also advertised to be at the rear wheels. I am torn between the two of them and am strongly considering a deal on a slightly used DDTTPM. I notice that the 3 responsiveness settings on each were a little different with the DDTTPM having a timing only setting. I am mainly trying to figure out the true story about the advertised power/torque gains that each company advertises. I am also considering DD2 injectors in the future also, and was thinking that the DDTTPM may not smoke as badly with them versus an EZ.

According to the dyno the EZ gave me around 58 HP at the rear wheels, thats with the auto-transmission. :)
 
G, I went with the DD box because it is a less radical box of the two. The EZ box has more total advance than the DD box, hence the different HP and torque numbers, according to DD. I also wanted the DD because of the timing only setting, as I plan to add injectors someday and wanted to be able to have a timing only setting for smoke control. Also, if I start slipping the stock clutch after injectors, I can go to timing only until I can get around to installing a new clutch. Happy bombing!!

From what I understand, DDs box in calibarated to work with their injectors. The standard EZ box is timing only on the first setting. I can say fron experiance that the standard EZ box works great with DD2s. I bet you'll be happy with either box.
 
I went with the EZ for my ETH (6spd)

With the higher compression of the ETH I liked the idea of DD's having a little less timing in it, given I was starting higher up on the curve than an ETC (auto/5spd).

I have the Edge EZ and DD2's and a K&N in the stock box.

My best dyno run this past weekend was 275RWHP.

This is with the auto and DTT products.
