Does the BHAF need some to hold it in place?

power service

My '02 is stock right now except for 4" exhaust and FP gauge, and next week I should get the triple A-pillar. So after all the gauges are ready to go I will be looking for my first power BOMB. My auto is stock and it is going to have to stay that way for a while ( money ).

My question is, would it be better to go with just the EZ, or would some Mach 1's or DDI's with a boost fooler be better ??

I know the injectors with boost fooler will run a little more money but if they are better for the truck I could deal with the extra cost. I've heard that the extra power from the EZ comes on around 1700 RPM, if that is true would it be better for the transmission ?? I assume that a lot of low end power is what will damage a stock auto, is that true also ??

TIA

The EZ with a stock transmission should be OK if you have someone turn up your line pressures a bit.

I ran an EZ this way for a while and had no problems.

Jeff...........

You know how my situation and how it has held up... ... . EZ, stock auto, 3. 55's, 196,500 miles all towing between 8000lbs and 28,000lbs. DTT scheduled for the 29th & 30th of this month. transmission still going good, but just not to comfortable doing long heavy hauls anymore. In fact I am hauling a 14,000 lb Case 550 dozer 150 miles in the morning. That will put me at about 22,000 lbs behind the mighty cummins.
