If I add the EZ as the only upgrade will the automatic transmission handle the extra power without an upgrade? I am completely stock and only looking for a little more power.

I installed the EZ on mine a few weeks ago, it seems fine. But I think alot of this is up to the driver. I don't plan on doing any high rpm hole shot ect. just a smooth application of the power and I think all will be well. I am looking into upgradeing the transmission DTT valve body and converter. I also tow a small 17' camper so am no to concerned. I really like the EZ,woke up the old white horse.

Beartrace, looking at your sig, you obviously tow with the Cummins. Being stock, and wanting a little more power, I'd apply those funds for the EZ towards transmission upgrades.
The extra power from the EZ won't be so noticeable on a stock transmission towing some serious weight. It'll actually feel worse. More power isn't always necessary. Again, this is dependent on the individual, and their intentions. With a TC and VB upgrade, you'll feel like you gained extra power, because in fact you would, as more power is being transferred to the rear wheels.
Do a search on transmissions, and you'll find a wealth of information about how inefficient the stock convertor and VB are.

Keep the RPM up when towing and you should be OK. If it slips the TC clutch address it immediately. Odds are in your favor that it will not slip but you need to pay attention. Empty you should not be able to slip it if you don't drive it like you stole it.
