Being a newcomer to diesels... can anyone tell me just what having the EZ addition does for you... Are you required to add other things also to compliment this device? And what is the cost? Can you put it on by yourself or do you need professional installation? I tow a 24' Komfort w/slide, 5th wheel.

Thanks for any information regarding this topic.

2001 Ram diesel, QC, AT, 4:10 rear end, tow package. White with sand bottom. Stock except for LineX liner, nerf bars, and gauges on pillar mount.

The EZ is the single best addition to a Dodge/Cummins that you can buy. Cost is between $500-600 depending on where you buy it. It will take you 5 minutes to install it the first time and 1 minute there after. It is absolutely a must for towing as it really increases the bottom end. Comes off in the wink of an eye and leaves no trace to cancel your warranty. All the above in NOT IMHO but pure fact. :D :D :D

EZ

I will second what Barry said. I have run the Van Aakin, Edge EZ and now the Edge Comp. I liked each one, driving w/o them is boring to me. I increased power and driveability each time :D .

Had my EZ for 2 weeks now.....

This is how I imagined the truck would come from the factory!!

The EZ install took 2 minutes the first time. Use the supplied elbow to bring your boost up. Helps keep the EGT's down. Unfortunately I have a HY35 turbo so it took a little more for me to do it.

I would also recommend gauges if you are going to start Bombing your truck. Nice to have a pulse on what's happening with the engine.

Of course you have to warned, very few can stop there... ... Bombing is a disease!
