EZ with elbow install engine light problems

I have had the edge ez in my truck for about 2 months now, without the elbow boot that came with the kit. I wanted to wait to put it on until the snow melted and it got nice out. today was that day. however after installing it I drove it. It ran like *****, and the engine light came on. I realized that I had forgotten to plug back in the air intake plug on the air box. Pulled over plugged it in drove back to my house engine light never went off. what do i need to do to get it working properly.

You can go somewhere and have the codes removed or you can disconnect your batteries and then turn the key on the on position and maybe your lights so you drain all the juice from your truck. . leave it for about fifteen minutes and that should clear your codes.

Or, the code will delete itself after 40 consecutive warmup cycles (coolant temperature must get over 160) without the code reappearing.

The eng light will go off after 6 starts.
