Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) f-1 injector install

Hello everyone, Just wanted to say I put my mach1. 5 injectors in from Don M and I would like you to know that by my s. o. p. meter they are worth the money. I am very happy with them,the change took about 61/2 hrs. getting #6 line loose was very time consuming but all in all it went well,they smoke alittle more than I thought they would but it clears up when the turbo spools up. So if your thinking about new injector's give Don's some thought, just wanted you to know you know how it is when you get a new toy. Don B.

Stock turbo? I noticed you have the boost elbow in your sig, but didn't your truck come with the HY35? I love my EDM3's, maybe a bit big for towing but too much is never enough!

How's your EGT's with the injectors and EZ? A turbo upgrade may be in your future, probably more dependent on your driving style.

Enjoy the power, find some rice rockets or stock diesels to spank!

What kind of EGT and BOOST numers did you have before and after the install? How do the numbers compare?

egt up 200-225 wot, boost up 6-7 lbs, moving gauge to a pillar so I can see gauge better, fuel pressure going in soon Don

Funny, I just installed my set of 1. 5s today as well!

I haven't had enough time to test them out, but they seem to hit 34 psi pretty easy, and the EGTs do climb a little bit quicker then the RV275s I just took out.

Of course the true test comes when I tow next. Unfortunately I don't have any heavy tows coming up soon, so I will have to wait.



I sure like mine, even with the few miles I put on them so far. Hope your enjoying yours as well.
