BDPower Aux. Lift Pump Users?

I only have like 10k miles on my FASS 150 gph and the motor stoped,,I think the brushes are bad,i have power to the motor and when i bump the motor with something it will start working again...

Anyone sell brushes for them? And is anyone else having this problem?

Dan,

I have had the same problems.

Call the person that sold you the unit.

The brushes should be under warranty.

If you bought it from ebay contact DPP directly.

I added some additional ground wires. I also had to replace one bad brush.

So far the new brushes are working well.

www.sourceautomotive.biz has them for sale if need be.

Sounds like the brushes might be hung up... might simply need taken apart and cleaned.

I going to pull the brushes out and clean them,,I ordered extra brushes for spares i will keep in the truck... Ive had the fass on since June 05 ,I would have thought the brushes would last longer than that. .

My Ramsey winch hangs brushes quite frequently, not all that uncommon...

Usually from either lubricant gelling up or moisture entering the motor (corrosion) that causes it. If brushes are already fried, I'd be a little concerned.

Makes me a little leary about buying a FASS.
