I was replacing a "bad" Isspro mechanical fuel pressure gauge the other day and discovered my isolator is bad. It's bad meaning, it doesn't isolate anymore.
I unhooked the gauge and smelled diesel. Also, the once green tint in the 1/8" tubing coming from the isolator was now not green.
Could this have been the cause for my buzzing f/p gauge? I do have a snubber on it too.
My isolator is the cylindrical style, not the flat square style I've seen. Anyone have any experience with other style isolators?
Thanks,
Ian
