Hey guys, I need your help with a fuel gauge problem. Just got through installing all of the gauges and everything is working except for fuel pressure. I have the Di-Pricol mech. with the isolater. When you turn the key on the needle will move up then fall back to zero. When the truck starts it will go up to ten then fall back to zero again and thats all it will do. I went and checked my fuel pressure with a snap-on gauge and it is low, but there is constant pressure. I have checked all connections. Do think this is the isolater or the gauge? Thanks in advance and have a save and happy new year.

I would check your connections again. Mine did the same thing, but I couldn't find the loose fitting either. Since I put antifreeze in the plumbing, I just drove around a bit and then checked the connections again. I found the one that was leaking!

HTH,

Will

I also installed the Di-Pricol fuel pressure gauge and noticed that as I drove along the fuel pressure would drop. after the truck had been parked awhile the pressure would be back up when I started it and then would drop again. Turned out to be a leaking connection between the gauge and the isolator, I put a little permatex on the tubing ferrels and that took care of the problem.

Thanks guys. I think I will fill the line with antifreeze and put the permatex on at the same time and see if this will fix my problem. I really don't want to take it off and send it back. Thanks for your help. HAPPY NEW YEAR
