Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) F/P gauge

Greetings all, finally got around to installing gauges but not sure about where to connect the isolator. I do understand about one side goes to the gauge but not the other? Their is a schader next to the supply line on the VP44 can I use that for accurate supply pressure? Woops I almost forgot, my truck is 2001 HO (eth/dee). I do have a Air Dog but it is not installed yet due in part to disc fusion in my back, but I will install ASAP.​

i hooked up to the schrader valve on the pump, works fine. I just used a valve stem remover, took the valve out, and hooked up the gauge.
