F.P Guage

I know this dead horse had been beat to death, but I have to ask. Will the Di Procol f. p guage hold up to bio? I have to replace my current set up with a new guage and isolator. I am thinking about running without an isolator due to the fact that the isolator is a p. o. s. Current isolator lasted only about 2 years and I would hate to think that I need to replace one every year to keep from trashing the guage. I will also be putting a needle valve in as well to control the pressure spikes.

None of the major manufacturers will honor warranty on gauges that have diesel (or bio I suspect) in the gauge itself. Will the gauge last, most likely as there are a lot of guys with no isolator that have run that way for a long time. I do NOT reccomend it as then you have the potential for fuel in the cab, small leaks if nothing else will set up a prety bad odor etc.



Your isolator, what type was it, we sell the square flat chrome plated ones and have nearly 0 returns since we started with them 4 years ago. If you have had the round cylinder one, they from what I have heard, have been a problem etc. Check out folks that have used the flat one like we sell and I think you'll find they are pretty solid, basically they are nothing but a membrane that seperates the fuel and the anti freeze/water and nothing else.
