SO, what do all those fancy terms REALLY mean - does a F1 1. 5 make one and a half times more power than a stock injector - or flow 1. 5 times more fuel? Does a DD2 make twice stock power, or flow twice as much fuel?



What *DO* those designations stand for?

Gary, I asked that question about a month ago, and from the responses I got there is not a clear 'ranking' system for the various injector makers. From the TPI world, you can buy injectors based on 'lbs/hr' of fuel... ... ... ... . our world there is no clear way to rank/rate the various vendors offerings. Would be a great thing, eh?

Sure would make a great TDR magazine article, comparing several different sets of injectors from the major suppliers, complete with dyno runs and EGT on an otherwise stock truck to see actual real-world differences...

Mach 1=65hp

Mach 1. 5=85hp

Mach 2=105hp

Mach 3=130hp

Mach 4=150hp

Mach 5=200hp

Mach 6=220hp

Mach 7=240hp
