Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) F1 Helix 2

Guys was thinking about installing Helix 2, to help turbo spool, throttle response and smoke reduction. How well do these cams work on a 2nd gen.

I'm using a different brand of cam with a very similar grind. It works very well. I wouldn't hesitate to use the F1 cam.

I like mine. Get it with the 12v lobe. It should be added for no add. charge. That way if you want later you can put a 12v lp on it and never have to worry about an electronic lp

I have had 2 F1 cams in mine.



The first was pulled and sent back to Don for inspection. It's in another truck and has about 85K on it now.



The second cam has a bolt on gear.



I am running the 12V lift pump and it's dead reliable!
