F350 Test Drive

I test drove a F350 the 05 model fully loaded model with the 4. 10 rear and the diesel in automatic. Man what a nice truck in dullie and the leather interior was outstanding. The pick up and go was great. I have yet to drive the new Dodge diesel dullie in auto or manual . I guess this is the big test for the new truck.

I think the '05 HD F-series got a nice makeover and they finally ditched the leaf springs up front for a better ride. If it wasn't for that problematic 6-liter motor and the fact the trucks cost so much I would have an interest in one.



Best bang for the buck? Hard to beat the Dodge Cummins combo!

The transmission in the Furds is nice with that Tow/Haul braking system it has in the transmission. I think they have about worked out the problems on the 6. 0 liter. Time will tell. My brother in law gets a new one every two-three years. He is proud to get 15 mpg with his (running empty). And it don't like to start when it's cold outside. But his ride is good and it's fairly quiet. Not as quiet as mine but he's got a year of use on his.
