F450 or F550 swap...

Anyone seen or done a 1999 or newer F450 or F550 with a cummins to replace the powerjoke..... I need a crew cab and have seen some with high miles and motor issues arround 10k just thinking out loud...

It shouldn't be much different then any other Ford SD / Cummins conversion like the one posted at fordcummins.com

Wonder how much difference there is between a 550 and 650 frame/suspension - the Cummins was an option for the 650 Fords, and if the 550 frames are the same, might not be a hard swap...

450-550 frames are like 250-350's... 650-750 is a totally different frame...



the 450/550 is just a regular old Ford w/ much heavier duty suspension and a stronger diff

Consider this, the f-650 is offered with an ISC or 8. 3L cummins. Now thats what I call a good time.
