2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Factory (?) alarm went off...

I parked my truck, set the Viper aftermarket alarm and after several minutes the horn started beeping and the lights started flashing. I've had the alarm go off before, but not the beeping horn. I tried to reset it, to no avail. It finally stopped after a few minutes. Any ideas? Thanks.

maybe the stock panic alarm? maybe you hit the "right" buttons on the viper remote and the truck thought that it was the panic alarm being set off? Just a thought.

As it turned out, it was the panic alarm. Something in my pocket must have depressed the button. I've had problems with the Viper alarm, so it didn't readily occur to me that it was the panic alarm. Thanks for the reply J-.
