I had the high idle option programmed yesterday.

Last night I left pickup unplugged and started it this morning.

Temp was -5 C

parking brake was on

the high idle did not kick in

Do I need to shut off my DDufm for this to work?

is there something Im forgetting?

No, you do not have to unplug the UFM. I would guess that the feature is in your ECM but hasn't been enabled. It should ramp up after about 30-60 seconds. Mine works just like it's supposed to. Take it to your dealer and have them enable the feature under the Misc. menu of the DRB. Then it should work.

I had mine back to the dealer 4 times and they never was able to get it to work so I finaly gave up mad: . Hope you have beter luck than I did. I think the biggest problem is the techs don't know how to program the ECM. Lack of training or computer skills.

no luck either

had mine in twice no such luck it was 6 out the other day and no high idle or three cylinder action. but did get another gallon per mile out of the update

I hear ya about the incompetent techs.

I had my clutch replaced at the same time as the new programming

2 days to replace a clutch and reprogram:mad:

but my motor does sound different

it used to sound like a machine gun when I turn on the ufm

now its seems a little more quiet
