Several weeks ago I took delivery of my new truck. Just recently I noticed that the level of coolant/antifreeze in the overflow container was at the add mark. I reviewed the owners manual and came up with a part number, 4267020 for the correct coolant. The next day I drove by the local Dodge dealers parts department and asked for the coolant, giving them the part number. They told me that the part number had changed to 4267020AB and they brought out 1 gallon. After reading the label it appeared to me that this stuff wasn't the correct coolant, i. e. low silicates & phosphates. They told me this coolant was what they put in all the Dodge vehicles, cars & trucks, that they serviced. Anyway I didn't buy the coolant and the next day I called the dealer where I had bought the truck and they told me the same thing. I have read all of the posts on this forum and also other information regarding which coolant to use in the Cummins ISB engine. I wanted to add enough coolant to bring the level to the full mark and hopefully use whatever the factory installed. Has anyone experienced a similar situation?
