Factory Nerf Bars on 07 Mega Cab

The factory tubular bars I got from the dealer did not have any directions in the box. Does anyone know where the two diagonal brackets mount?



The main three brackets on each side are went in easy, its just the diagonal braces I can't seem to figure out.

I have MOPAR tube steps on my truck. The diagonal braces go on each end from the step, up to the body, and bolt to the body real close to the body mounts.

The top photo is the front mount on the driver's side. The second one is the rear mount on the driver's side.

I know, I know. I was shocked when I saw that photo. I'll address that when I wash it next time! I'm truly sorry you had to see that.

Thanks for the response, that is how I thought they mounted. Did you install yours? If so do you remember seeing instructions?

I'm wondering if two of my brackets fell-out with the instructions, cause I only have two of the diagonal brackets not four.

There must have been instructions or I'd still be trying to figure it out! It was 3 years ago so I have no idea if there were or not, but I'm leaning towards yeah, there were instuctions. You must have been short changed on the other two brackets and the instructions. I did install them myself.

There were instructions with the ones I got. Typical of all Mopar stuff, they were pathetic. There was little or no text, just drawings.
