Can someone give me the part number for their factroy tach. My parts guy does no have an accessory book that goes back to 93'. I have to have a part number to get one and it is not shown in the regular parts files. Thanx, Dan.
i don't think they are available any longer , i tried to get one and coundn't find one ,so i got a autometer part #2888 easy to install and works great it's also a 25/8" tach i ordered mine from napa for $110. 00
The Mopar part number is 82400711, box marked on outside: "Made in Japan" ! Actually these are quality tachs, 3" diameter with template for factory looking install and are plug in on '92 and '93 CTD's. My ticket shows a retail of $146. 00 and $109. 50 after my dealer discount. A freight charge of $10. 00 was added for getting it shipped from another dealer. The box label shows the stocking dealer was Checotah Chry, Ply, Dodge Inc. , in Checotah Oklahoma.
Anyone out there in TDR land know who the OEM was for Dodge? These are nice instruments. HTH
Thanx for the part number. My dealer does not show any dealers in the nation that have a tach. If any one knows of a dealer that has one I would love to know. Or if you know who made them for chrysler. Or if anyone has an extra tach hint hint that they would like to make another TDR member happy by selling that would be O. K. also. Thanx, Dan.
Just had my dealer check and you're right, all the old stock is depleted. Should have checked before I posted. If you do a lot of projects, check out the tach and guages on eBay:
