Archived Failing headlights.

No head lights, If I leave my bright lights on, my lights die and flicker, then eventually go dead, then come back on, then go off... ..... i could go on but its dark outside and I need help. This happens about 5 minutes of driving with brights on. is this a relay thing or a switch thing, i am thinking its in the multifunction switch in the steering collum. I don't know, But i am not driving without headlights right now. PS, all the other lights work just fine. tails, markers, fogs, they don't flicker. and the truck does not have to be moving.

My guess is the light switch on the dash. I had problems on my 94 with a burnt terminal on the switch. They are easy to change.

My guess would be something over heating. Since it is only the headlights, it is probably the headlight relay(s). Just a guess on my part.
