Interesting read that may help us get Daimler Chrysler to come up with real fix for lift pump problems. http://www.pcworld.com/features/article/0,aid,81997,pg,1,00.asp

Squeaky wheel seems to get attention, but without a concerted effort to make that squeak heard DC will probably ignore us. Dodge use to make a big deal out of their 'Dependable Trucks' slogan. After 3 plus years of not coming up with a better idea on the lift pump, it appears that it is not going to get done. I bring this article up to maybe spark some type of debate as to the merits of using our combined membership weight to lean on Daimler Chrysler.

This is great,

I've been through 3 lift pumps ( not including the stock pump ) in 92,000 miles and one Injector pump, and one APPS sensor. Lift pump I picked up at Cummins yesterday was $158. Bucks. This Truck has been more expensive to keep on the road with fuel related problems than any vehicle I have ever owned.
