Its a 2 Day dyno rip and cookout like we have done in the past. I have began to make the calls to our loyal sponsors and will begin posting them as they arrive to us. The owners who dyno are eligible for the sponsor gifts and we will do something a bit different this year as to eliminate some confusion. We will divide what we receive and draw on both days for the products, that way all can be in attendance and it will make my job alot easier by not having to track you down after the show. You may roll the jet both days and will entered for each rip of the "Humbler" as you have before. Trophies will be given to the winner in each class along with a plaque for Highest TQ. A owner may win in more than one category(like highest #2 and highest open HP),but,to do that he must have competed(dynoed)twice in 2 different categories. Classes are as follows... ... .

Stock... .

This class is limited as in the years past to the following mods, air intakes and aftermarket exhausts. NOTHING ELSE!. I am going to try and figure a way to make all the years competitive with each other as the newer common rail injection trucks have way more HP than the older rides. Those caught with other unapproved mods in this class will forfeit any chance of winning anything. Please be honest owners, this is a fun show and I'd like to keep it that way.

#2 Only.....

This is EXACTLY as it means,Highest HP on diesel only. No Nitrous,Propane,Meth injection,Misters and no fuel other than diesel. We will check at random the trucks rolling in this class for illegal equipment,so lets be honest guys and gals. Twins, aftermarket chargers fueling boxes and injectors are legal in this class. A owner who is drug equipped may DISCONNECT and/or REMOVE ALL Drugs to compete in this class.

Run What Ya Brung...

This is the "Don't Bring A Knife To A Gunfight Class".

Any fuel, charger configuration any amount of drugs can be used here. The only rule here is the HOOD MUST close and latch tightly. This is for safety reasons as we have seen the aftermath of a head-gasket explosion with the hood open.

Couple of things also here to remind everyone...

-If you use or work in the shop to do more mods we ask kindly that you dyno either day. Ernie gives us the run of the shop and all his tools and all he asks if those who do work dyno and I support that idea.

-Also,ALL HOODS WILL BE CLOSED during the dyno runs for safety reasons and the only personnel other than the Kauffman crew and I that is allowed is the trucks owner, again safety here folks.

-We ask that you don't stand directly behind the dyno door while a roll is in progress as any flying object will hurt and possibly injure you.

The cookout is going to be a covered dish as we have done at all our shows and it works well. If everyone brings something there will be plenty of grub to go around. I will need a chef or two for that day to wheel the grill or grills. I have gotten us a larger grill(cooking surface is 3ft x 5ft) to cook on and may rent the second one if needed. Please post what your interested in bringing along.

I will update as we go along and draw nearer to the show. Any questions feel free to ask here or PM them to me... ... ..... Andy

Andy, I'll be there for this one too, Saturday only, though.

At at the picnic in July, you and I can discuss if there's anything I could do to help you or the club prepare.

Scott

Thanks for the PM Andy:D

I will be there also with my "Powerjoke" LOL!!! ;)

RabidRam, I think you will be quite surprized at what my "joke" does;) :--) :D

Hey Greg...

Does the Flowerpoke still have any of those rear tires left or did ya have to replace them after Exton?. :D :D :D . I do know that I heard Tom say he may have to get the sweeper out and sweep the lot to pick up all the rubber you and Evil Otto left behind..... Andy

Oo. :D  LOL!!

Actually Andy, I just HAD TO replace my slicks..... I mean BFG AT's  :D I picked up some of those Nitto's because I liked JB's so much!;)

I've been a busy little beaver since Exton also:eek: Lots more goodies and tweaks. The truck has at least 150 hp more now than it did at Exton;) No guarantees, but I'm hoping for some pretty impressive numbers for a "Flowerpoke"! (LOL!!! you are killing me :D )

Looking forward to a great time!:D

Greg

Greg,

I AM impressed with your Flowerpoke/Powerjoke/Pukin' Smoke. I am the guy that you took for a ride up Rt. 100 at the Exton gathering. Very nice indeed! I'm gonna try to get my friend (that I told you about) who has a 7. 3 to come along. Shouldn't be too hard. He's into just about anything diesel.

So... 150 MORE then what you had at Exton, eh? Holy schnikies! That should be a good time. Lookin' forward to seein' everybody there.

I'm marking the calender. I definitely plan on being there again. If things go well, i should have lots more power than i do now.

Later,

Chris.

Cool Rabid :)

It will be good to see you again;) If you can't convert your buddy, we can atleast help him to smoke some! LOL!! By the way, the truck smokes QUITE a bit more than the last time you saw it!!:D

Greg

Andy, have you made any type of arrangements for hotels yet? I was wondering if we could find something a little closer to the dyno event, or even camping. Can we camp at Kauffmans with a generator? I am not that familiar with the area and know last year was tough to find Kauffmans from the hotel. Thanks

In regards to camping there used to be a little campground in York Springs but i tried to look up the phone number and it was not listed . I will ask around to see if they are still in business. Depending on how many are interested in camping i live less than 10 min away from Kauffmans it would not be any trouble to mow the little 3 acre feild and camp here i can get water and electric out there however it may be a little tricky getting in i only put in a 10ft wide gate but it is a stright shot in. If anyone is interested P. M me and i will give directions. I almost forgot it won't cost anything to stay here :D

TTT. .

Time to bring this back to the top as time draws near. I am working on some new Items and am busy getting things arranged. I will begin to list the vendors and dyno prizes as they begin to come in.

I know better plans have been laid to rest but I would like to try and get the dyno rolls more organized. I will ask for a volunteer who will be there both days to help me with it and if anyone is interested contact me. With the turnout we had for the tune-up rip I feel with decent weather we will be very busy to say the least. One change from the previous 2 years will be a even split of what we recieve and each days rips will be drawn that day. this will do 2 things,1-Make sure the person whose number we draw has a chance to pick out what they wish and 2-Make it alot easier for me as I will not have to play tag trying to track down those who give me the incorrect contact info.

So time will tell what numbers will be had and how the "Humbler" treats everyone. Lets all make this a show for us to remember... ... ... Andy

Andy, I would be more than willing to help out with logistics on Saturday, unfortunately, I will not be able to attend on Sunday. However, I am chomping at the bit even more, considering I missed last week. If you can put me to good use on Saturday, let me know.

With the turnout you had last week (55 truck s or so), I can imagine the Fall Brawl will be huge.

Scott

Andy, if you need help with anything, let us know, TMTT and myself will be more than happy to help out! :)

Can't wait to get down there again!!!

On a serious note Dockboy. The breaking up my truck was doing on the dyno was anything but normal. It never did that before. On the way home I set a CEL and 2 codes. Apparently something went wrong with my one fueling box while I was up there Saturday. I will have her ready for this one. ;)
