Falling out of OD and trans temp lightcoming on

When driving normal my 2000 3500DRW 47re trans light comes on and then OD light, and falls out of OD. Then goes off and OD reengages, the OD button does take a hard press to get it to disengage anymore. I think it is a wiring issue, but just starting to chase wires. Any direction would be appreciated. the trans is serviced every 15k just because it pulls a trailer almost everyday. Other then that it seems to be shifting normal and its not overheating, I do have a second trans temp sensor in the pan, and second cooler under the bed. Thank you.

I'd say your Sensor "thinks" it is overheating. Your still on the OEM parts?

Yes the temp sensor is OEM still. I am thinking that now,.looked at the schematic and OD and temp sensor are a basic power ground. Still need to inspect wiring.

They are well known to fail, it's almost a wonder that you are still running factory parts at that age.
From my point of view you can stop investigating right here.
