Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fan hub bearing

I have an 01 3500 dually diesel. My bearing on the fan bracket came apart and has locked up the fan pully. I did get the bracket and fan off. My problem is locating a replacement bearing. I did get a number from a Dodge dealer. 4429639 - However they don't have any in stock. Did some searching on Google and possibly found a replacement number of NTN DF0766LUA - But can't seem to find that bearing either. I even went to NTN's webside and couldn't find that number.

Can anyone offer a valid number for the replacement? I have heard the bearing will be anywhere from $35. 00 - $265. 00

Try Cummins I found 1 there for mine a 1990 CTD

Try a local bearing dealer if you have one in your area. I replaced one on my son's 92 a couple years ago for half what Cummins wanted. Randy

BG - My fan clutch itself is in good shape... it is the bearing in the bracket that holds the fan and fan clutch that went out.

Just an update: I found the bearing on ebay for 16. 00. Hugh savings. Thanks everyone.
