Question: are you talking about the "pulley/hub" or the mount for the fan?
The bolt pattern for the pulley is the same, but the early fan hubs(pulley) have more height to them. Meaning that they have more offset from the mounting flange. On the 89-93 the fan is centered high over the crankshaft center line, on the 94-98. 5 it is offset to the drivers side and set lower. Both of the fan mounts will bolt to either block, it just changes the fan location and depth.
You'll have to buy the fan mount, the pulley, and check for interference with the relocated fan. The 94-98. 5 use a 81" belt, two inches shorter than the89-93, so add one belt to the list. Also the newer models fans set farther from the engine so you'll have to watch for fan to radiator clearance.
Just write down your engine serial number, go to your nearest Cummins Dealer and they will get you a new fan pulley for half the price that Dodge will charge you.
