:{ Lots of luck, all bad. It seems every time I get 600 miles away from home I have big troubles! Shredded a new serpentine belt as a result of the fan pulley bolts all coming out and pulley wobble did in the belt. Drove a short distance with no belt, parked and spent the night at hotel. Looked like a dealer fix to me, so took it in to Dodge truck centre. Estimate for new housing ($960), new pulley ($230) and misc total about $2000. They had truck 4 days and could not find parts, I took truck back, they had not even removed any parts to survey damage, and I fixed it myself.

The bearing in fan housing had backed off causing bolts to rub on housing and backed them out. Pressed bearing back(don't know why there is no retainer stop ring or set measure for bearing) but good guess put bearing flush with front of housing, chased out all bolt holes, installed new bolts, re assemble fan, shroud etc, put on old belt. Total time spent 4 hrs, total expense $0. No wonder us guys hate to visit a dealer!!!!!!! I might have been born at night, but it wasn't last night.

Just wondered if anyone else has had fan pulley come off?

I've never had one come off, but your story makes me want to cry.

I cannot believe how crooked some dealers are. It seriously sickens me sometimes. I would have reported that place to the BBB.
