Fan Settings Help!

The low fan setting on my 04. 5 has not been working for the last two weeks. When I jumped in the truck this morning, only the hi setting now works. The fan motor seems to work just fine, but there is no speed adjustment, its either hi or off. Is there some sort of relay that I need to replace? The switch seems to function normally. A/C on hi is nice on those hot days, but not all the time Thanks!

Look under the bottom of the A/C housing beneath the glove box, there is a module sticking down and is held in place by two screws, disconnect it and inspect the plug in terminals, if they are corroded, clean them up real good and lube with some dielectric greas and plug back in. If they are not corrooded then the unit is probably bad. This is the resistor bank for the fan speeds. It sells for about $70. 00 aftermarket. bg
