Farm Bureau ?????

So how does one go about joining the Farm Bureau and getting the $500 dollar rebate from DC ? How long of a wait is there? Restrictions , etc? Any Help would be greatly appreciated since I'm waiting on delivery of my new 3500.

Charlie I joined 4 years ago, the guy I bought my house from is an agent for them and it ws no big deal to get it done. The dues here in Oklashoma are $32. 00 a year but they still beat everyones prices for home owners insurance. Look them up in the yellow pages and find an agent close to you or here is the national number I bet they can help you find one. 1-800-247-4170

You have to be a member for 30 days to get the rebate. I joined right before I ordered my truck. It was all set by the time I took delivery 2 months later. The dealer can fanagle the dates sometimes if you have to wait for the membership. You get a voucher from the farm bureau after the 30 days are up. No requirements to join - don't have to live on a farm or anything. I had the same questions when I joined. I walked in, told them I wanted to join, and she said "are you buying a Dodge truck?" LOL - they must get guys like us all the time. I just had to plunk down $37. 50, then watch the dealer deduct $500. off the truck! Sweet deal! The Farm Bureau gets some money/support, and you get a discount. Everybody wins!
