Anyone that made the decision to buy and drive an 8,000 truck should be the last person to ***** about oil and gas prices. That is like marrying a fat chick and then *****ing about the price of groceries.

I support capitalism. If I had a company and made a 10% profit, would that be way out of line? What if it only amounted to $10,000? This is going along the lines of making "the rich" pay higher percentage income tax because "they can afford it". I asked it on one of the other "John" threads... who decides how much is too much? What is obscene profit? Is it a percentage? A dollar amount? If all businesses made a 10% profit, would that be OK?

Whos to say! I feel as though everyone that has posted on this subject has a point... a valid opinion. Facts, feelings and whatever... we can all blow steam back and forth over the issue, but the bottom line is... it's not going to change a damn thing.

I work for "big oil" :-laf and it's funny how they can take care of management when profits are good, but they still ***** and scream to give me a cost of living raise! That sticks in my craw! :-{}

I need to buy gas, I have no other option at this point, the economy is where it's at, oil companies are rolling in it and I'm still going to turn my VE pump up and mash the go peddle... that makes me happy Oo.

I don't think any of you are idiots! Just a different viewpoint! :cool:
