FASS 150 help

Hey guys.

Little issue here.

I installed a fast 150 in my truck yesterday. Everything went great no leaks. Triple checked that fuel arm would hit draw straw. Filled truck today. Wouldn't you know it. Arm hits the straw so truck reads 1/2 when full.

My question. What will it hurt to spin the factory sending unit to the left so that the fuel level arm is alittle off center to the driver side of truck. Anyone see any issues with this?

For those of you that might read into this.

I solved my own problem. I removed the in tank lift pump, cut the plastic tab off of it and turned it 1/4 inch to the left (driver) side of the draw straw and then reinstalled lock ring. The pressure from the the pump and the lock ring will keep it from spinning either way and now i can read full tank. I also have not had any issue with low fuel and even ran it down to under E staying close to my preferred fueling station.
all seems to work well.
