How do you increase the fuel pressure from a Fass 95? Cruising at highway i'm sitting at 9-10 psi and would rather see 13-15 if possible. Read something a long time ago about stretching out the regulator spring until you get the right pressure? Any info would be very helpful. . #ad

Your vendor should be able to send you a stiffer spring.

OR removed the return fitting from the side of the unit, thats where the pressure/return spring is located. Stretch the spring very slightly and re-install. Make sure the return check back goes back in place if it comes out of the unit. WaaaaLaaa higher pressure in about 3 minutes of work for free. Doesn't take much stretch to get the pressure up.

Did this about 2 years ago and pressure is the same to this day, cruise the highway at 80mph with 15. 5psi, idle at 16. 5psi.

Hope this helps

MKinner,

I see you ordered your adrenaline... Oo.

Have fun!

So how has yours been? Missed the delivery on friday, and have to wait till monday (UPS)... My first fueling box so it should be fun. It was a hard choice between that and the comp. I just hope the mileage setting will help me out...

I have been driving around on the mileage setting, my truck rarely sees the hi way anymore. I only get about 16. 5 miles per gallon driving back and forth to work with a 8 mile commute. I would like to take a trip and see where my hi way mileage is at. I would hope that using cruise control with my 275's and mileage setting to be a hair or so over 20mpg, won't know till I take a road trip. Anyway, I think you will be happy with the module.

I've been going nuts ordering stuff... I ordered a Raptor pump and plumbing kit for my 2000 quad 4x4 and just pulled the trigger on an Adrenaline/pulse combo with pillar mount.

I already have the Dodge Steering Stabilizer and a Luke's link on the way.

Good thing I'm leaving for a month... it'll keep me away from temptation.

One question; is there much of an advantage to replacing the banjo connections between the filter and injection pump?

Thanks

Not sure how your raptor pump is setup, but the fass totally bypasses the stock fuel filter and fuel lines. It uses a 3/8" hoses and ties directly into the VP-44 replacing the stock fittings. I would imagine yours is simular?

I got the filter to VP-44 fuel line replacement kit which replaces the lines and banjo fittings but keeps the stock filter. I was just wondering if that's overkill... not that there's anything wrong with that...

Worked like a charm. My pressure went from 10 psi to 15 psi at idle. Thanks for the info. I think i'm going to order the other spring just to keep on hand in case i need it. Diesel Dan, how would i go about getting that spring you mentioned?
