i'm looking into a fass system and was wondering which one i should go with. i know at this point i dont think i need the 150, but thought maybe i should get it so i have plenty of room to grow. however i have heard i shouldn't go too big because of the stress it could put on the injection pump, so now i'm thinking maybe the 95. what does everyone think?

well, after doing some research, i'm thinking maybe i should go with a glacier system. it seems the there are a lot of complaints about the fass, and the fuel pressure seems to be more constant with the glacier. any thoughts?

i'll be going with glacier soon. i was going to go with fass but have read alot of complaints from people? i don't know either way but haven't seen or heard many problems with the glacier kits. just my . 02.

Keep in mind that the full FASS goes have some features above the glacier system. That said I like my glacier/walbro system WAY better then the Fass/pump-only setup I had before...

The walbro is stupid quiet and flows quite a bit. If you do go with a FASS, better get the 150, you very know when the bug will bite again...

I have a FASS 150 with the filters, I have had no trouble with it but if the Glacier fuel system would have been on the market when I bought my FASS I would have bought the Glacier. It is quieter, flows good volume and pressure, easier to install and pumps are pretty cheap need the time arise it would need replaced. from what I have seen and heard. Get the Glacier with the Filters and you got a better system in my eyes than the Fass w/ filters. This coming from a FASS 150 owner, no knock on FASS though just my opinion.

I have the full FASS 95 and have not had any problems at all. Mine is very quiet and has provided all the fuel pressure I have needed so far. I do run the 3 micron fleetguard filter also.

On my old truck I went with the FASS hpfp 95gph. The fuel pressure was no lower then 15psi at WOT and I had GREAT customer Service from Dan!! Oo.

As for some that have said the FASS is a loud pump I deff do not agree. My old setup was a Holley Blue and it was louder then the FASS by far! I will be going with a FASS on 3rd gen this upcoming Spring. :-laf

TDR Issue 54 Page 133-136 addresses FASS. For 98. 5-02 They recommend the 150 GPH or the 95 GPH depending on your mods. No gripes about the system in the article. GET A FUEL PRESSURE GUAGE, FASS OR NOT! If you starve the VP-44 it will be damaged!! (this is their recommendation)
Seems like a solid product, and like so many aftermarket products, FASS has worked out a lot of the bugs people have griped about in the past... IMHO

Cheers
Mike
