Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) FASS and the bypass

Since the FASS pump is pressure regulated, is it possible to just block off the bypass valve on the p-pump?

Not a good Idea.



The p-7100 relies on the excess fuel flowing through it for cooling and lubrication.



You can block off the return but it would not be conducive to your pumps health to do so.

Why would the diesel be a cooland and lubricant when it has the oil to do that. Its not like the VP-44 or the cp3.
