Been watching my fuel pressure and every now and then it has been dropping a bit. Hasn't really gotten below 9 psi but when I have the Juice on level 3x5 and wide open it does pull it down. Think it might be time to replace the ol' stocker now that the truck turned 180,000 today. The mods I have done to my truck are in my signature and I'm wondering if the DDRP from FASS would be a good replacement for my truck. I really have no plans to do much more to the truck as its mainly a daily driver / towing the other stuff truck. (and I have plenty of other high HP "toys" that tear up enough stuff so I'm wanting to keep this one reliable) The only other things performance or engine wise I plan on doing are an AFE stage 2 intake and some transmission and converter upgrades. I'm looking for the best value for what I need. Wondering what everyone else's thoughts are on using the DDRP on my truck or should I spend the extra couple hundred dollars and go with one of their larger systems?

We tell every one of our customers the DDRP is basically a better grade of stock replacement pump. I would step up to a HPFP or Raptor or a full system to get the pressure you need to get the job done with your box on.

Well thank you very much for the reply Dave. Would the 95 fuel pump be a good choice? Or would you reccomend going with the pump with the filtration system as well and what are the extra advantages of going with that one? I was somewhat wanting to use the FASS brand as I have heard many good things about them and one of the teams I race against has their systems on all of their rigs and have had very good luck with them. I'm not saying there aren't other companies out there with good products I was just leaning towards one of the FASS systems.

The debate over systems with or without filters rages on. I can tell you that we sell many more HPFP systems than the full systems. Some of this is cost, some is the customer's belief in the air removal process.

The bottom line is to pick the system you feel is best for you. For all systems we always recommend a new DrawStraw.

As far as GPH, that again depends on your HP goals. The 95GPH satisfies 90% of the 2nd gen users. For those go up over 500or so HP I always recommend going to the 150GPH.
