FASS filter replace

What can I expect to pay for filter and water separator for the FASS. Was quoted $71. 00 for 3 micron alone! $31. 00 for separator. Thanks

$31 for the separator is about right.

You can get the 51202 5 micron filter from fleetfilter for about $9 each.

The 51202 is a 5micron NOMINAL filter (meaning the smallest thing it will catch is 5 micron)... it is absolute around 15 micron...



PM "NGM Diesel"... he claims he can get the 3 micron filter cheaper...



The HF6604 is about the best filter you can get... I had over 40k on my HF6604 without any issues...



You should not need to change the water separator... unless you are so inclined to spend the money.
